Features of Ishikawa laboratory

The Ishikawa laboratory divides research into three teams.

The members are active in one of the teams, but some people are working in multiple positions or doing other sub-work derived from the team.

What is Ishikawa laboratory?

The Ishikawa laboratory handles three themes: "AI", "image processing" and "speech recognition".

AI studies deep learning and rule-based methods, image processing uses transformation and analysis algorithms, and speech recognition uses HMMs and deep learning to improve accuracy.

For undergraduate students

The Ishikawa laboratory recommends “moving hands” or “actively communicating with members” for mutual growth and research development. I think there is a climate and atmosphere that is easy to talk about. Please contact us if you are interested in our laboratory. (We will adjust the time if you wish even outside the open house.)

About undergraduate intern system

There is an undergraduate intern systemfrom the third year. It is possible to take part in research activities from the third grader by utilizing this system. Please actively work with undergraduate students considering the research theme.
